What is a Hero Section
If you've been on the internet since the beginning of the internet, you've seen a hero section. However, the definition is most likely unclear to most website laymen. We thought we could give some insight on what exactly a hero section is.
A hero section is the top area of any website page also referred to as the "Top Fold" of the page. As designers, the hero section serves a multitude of purposes, however, the main purpose would be servicing call to actions, education, and design influence.
Different Types of Hero Sections
Hero sections can be broken down into two main facets Holistic and Specific. Now let's go over what these two facets are and how they're different.
Holistic Hero Section
Holistic hero sections would cover a broad spectrum about a topic, a business, or a concept.
Specific Hero Section
Specific hero sections would cover specific components of a topic, a business, or a concept. For instance team members of a business, or services a business offers.
