To duplicate a Cpanel, you can use a simple method is your server has this feature. PLEASE CHECK THAT THERE IS BACKUPS FOR THE CPANEL ACCOUNT BEFORE PROCEEDING!

You can use the backup restoration tool on WHM to quickly create a duplicate of a website.

Steps to take: 

1. Login into WHM
2. Search up Backup Restoration
3. From here You will see something similar to this



4. From here you want to search up the username of the Cpanel account you wish to restore. It is important see that there are viable backups before continuing


5. Once you verified there are viable backups to restore to, you want go to the Cpanel account you want to make a duplicate of and change the account name and the domain name as well.

6. Then using the backup restoration tool backup account you wish two restore. Once that is complete you know have a copy of the domain. The orginal will be used as the copy and the newly backed up on will take place of the original. 

7. Quickly check that the orginal site is still coming up.

8. If so then now you need to make changes to the copy. Change the domain name in the database.

9. Then point A record to the domain.

10. Use velvet blues to change all the URLs on the website to the new one. Use Elementor to replace url as well if needed. 

11. Done make sure all pages and links are correct and that the ssl is active.


Notes:

Ensure that .htacccess permission files: 644

Ensure public_html permission files: 755

Delete user.ini file

Remove WordFence Files, public_html/wodfence-waf.php, wordfence plugin folder, wp-content/wflogs
