Performance Reports: Google Site Kit setup
Prerequisites: Google Site Kit pulls in information from Search Console, Analytics, AdSense, PageSpeed Insights, Tag Manager, and Optimize. If you cannot connect to each of these data sources, you may have to set them up first.
(1) Log into the site
(a) Open PulseNest. Search for the client's name. Select Vault. Lookup the WordPress login credentials.
(b) Go to the WordPress login at clientdomain/wp-admin
(c) Enter the login credentials and you should be at the WordPress Dashboard

(2) Before installing Google Site Kit, go to https://sitekit.withgoogle.com/documentation/
(a) Select "Known limitations in Site Kit". Review any updates.
(1) Caching plugins (Autoptimize): Temporary disable caching plugins while you’re setting up Site Kit.

(3) Option 1: Using the Google Site Kit plugin (https://sitekit.withgoogle.com/)
(a) Go to Plugins > Add New > Search plugins for 'Google Site Kit', select Install Now, select Activate
(b) Select 'Start Setup' - Welcome to Site Kit! Let's get you set up.
(c) Select 'Sign in with Google'
(d) Connect Google Search Console
(1) Choose an account
(2) Select 'My Business' mybusiness@702pros.com
(3) Grant Site Kit permission > Select 'Allow' > Select 'Allow'
(4) Confirm your choices > Select 'Allow'
(e) Verify site ownership
(1) Select 'Proceed'
Note: You should receive a green check that 'You're a verified owner of <domain>
(f) Allow <domain> to access Google Account data
(1) Select 'Allow'
Note: You should receive a green check that <domain> can access Google Account data
(g) Set up Search Console
(1) Select 'Add site'
Note: You should receive a green check that <domain> is set up in Search Console
(h) Congratulations! Select 'Go to my Dashboard'
(i) Connect Google Analytics
(1) In the Site Kit Dashboard, select 'Google Analytics - Connect Service' OR 'Set Up Analytics' (in the blue box)
(2) Choose an account from 702pros.com, select 'My Business (mybusiness@702pros)
(3) Grand Site Kit permission, select 'Allow'
(4) Confirm your choices, select 'Allow'
(5) Connect Service - Analytics
(a) Select the correct Account, Property, and View
(b) Select 'Configure Analytics'
(c) Additional Permissions Required, select 'Proceed'
(1) Choose an account from 702pros.com, select 'My Business (mybusiness@702pros)
(2) Grand Site Kit permission, select 'Allow'
(3) Confirm your choices, select 'Allow'
(d) Congrats on completing the setup for Analytics!
Note: You should receive a green check that confirms Analytics is connected
(j) Connect PageSpeedInsights
(1) In the Site Kit Dashboard, select 'PageSpeed Insights - Connect Service'
Note: You should receive a green check that confirms PageSpeedInsights is connected
(k) Connect other services as needed.
(l) Don't forget to reactivate 'Autoptimize'
It should take at least 24 hours for the data to propagate.
