Performance Reports: Google Data Console setup (Monthly Website Performance Reports)

Prerequisites: Google Data Console pulls in information from Search Console, Analytics, AdSense, PageSpeed Insights, Tag Manager, Optimize, and other 3rd party resources.
If you cannot connect the Google resources, you may have to set them up first.

(1) Log in to Google email

(2) Go to https://datastudio.google.com/reporting/

(3) Click the Account icon (upper right hand corner) to confirm you’re in the correct email account (mybusiness@702pros.com)

(4) Click on ‘Make a copy of this report’ icon (upper right hand corner)

(5) Connect the Data Sources. You should get a popup that says, ‘Copy this report’

(a) Connect Google Analytics
(1) Select the 1st dropdown on the right ‘[Sample] Google Analytics Data’
(2) From the dropdown, select ‘Create New Data Source’ (in blue at the bottom)
(3) From the Google Connectors list, select Google Analytics.
(4) From the Account list, select the correct account (e.g. 702 Pros)
(a) From the Property list, select the correct property (e.g. (GA4 | 2589483750)
(b) Select ‘Connect’ (in blue at the top right)
(c) Select ‘Add to Report’ (in blue at the top right)

(b) Connect Google Search Console (Site)
(1) Select the 2nd dropdown on the right ‘[Sample] Search Console Data (Site)’
(2) From the dropdown, select ‘Create New Data Source’ (in blue at the bottom)
(3) From the Google Connectors list, select Search Console.
(4) From the Sites list, select the correct account (e.g. https://702pros.com)
(a) From the Table list, select the correct table (Site Impression)
(b) From the Property Parameter list, select web
(b) Select ‘Connect’ (in blue at the top right)
(c) Select ‘Add to Report’ (in blue at the top right)

(c) Connect Google Search Console (URL)
(1) Select the 3rd dropdown on the right ‘[Sample] Search Console Data (URL)’
(2) From the dropdown, select ‘Create New Data Source’ (in blue at the bottom)
(3) From the Google Connectors list, select Search Console.
(4) From the Sites list, select the correct account (e.g. https://www.702pros.com)
(a) From the Table list, select the correct table (Url Impression)
(b) From the Property Parameter list, select web
(b) Select ‘Connect’ (in blue at the top right)
(c) Select ‘Add to Report’ (in blue at the top right)

When the popup returns, check to see that all the correct data sources are connected, then
